Day 19.
It seems the Singaporeans like nothing better than to hang out by the water and chill. The choice is between the rich and balmy waters of the Singapore Straits or the condo pool. Since the sea is full of trash and an armada of coasters and tankers, the pool seems to win hands-down.
Admittedly there is sand by the sea. And where there's sand there are sandcastles. And kiosks with fresh coconuts, Chinese food and BBQs. But the convenience and of the pool makes it a cleaner, happier domestic alternative.
So why aren't the pools utilised more? Well, if it's too convenient it doesn't get used, like the nearby museum that doesn't get visited.
Ah well, back to convenience..
