As a starter effort, here are a few quick snaps of where I live: Ko Tong Ha Yeung village in Sai Kung Country Park and a little walky around the hillls with Batty (now sadly departed).
I suppose for those who have never been, Hong Kong must seem to be
entirely the realm of a busy, asian metropolis -the very example of
congestion and pollution. Those of us that live away from the busier
districts of Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula know better.
Not all 368 sq miles of The New Territories, named at their acquisition
by the British Colony way back in 1898, are quite as beautiful as those encompasing the Sai Kung East Country Park.
A view the peak of Ma On Shan from the country park. Not a soul to be seen.
When I first came upon this location it looked very much like a standing stone circle one might see in Europe. On closer inspection, however, the stones appear completely natural. The site does not even appear to have a local name on any map.
